Step 1: Visit the Seva Sindhu Services Portal at sevasindhuservices.karnataka.gov.in.

Step 3: In the login dashboard, under ‘Apply for Services’ select ‘View All Available Services’. In the search bar, type ‘Birth Certificate’ and select the application link displayed in the search results.

Step 4: If you have the registration number of the birth certificate, select ‘Yes’ and enter the number, and click ‘Search’. If you do not have the registration number, select ‘No’ and enter details such as, Date of Birth, Name of the Child, Father’s & Mother’s Name and Click ‘Search’. (Ensure the child’s and parent’s names are entered exactly as they appear in the hospital registration records, including any initials.)

Step 5: Based on the given input, the details of the certificate will be displayed if found in the concerned department’s database. If the details shown are correct, select ‘Yes’ enter the captcha, and click ‘Submit’.

Step 6: A preview of your application will be displayed. Verify all details and click on ‘Make Payment’. Select the Paytm option and click ‘Make Payment’ again.

Step 7: Scan the QR code displayed on the screen using any UPI app or enter your UPI ID to receive a payment request of ₹5 on your UPI app. Complete the payment and finalize the application by clicking ‘Submit’.

How to Check Birth Certificate Status and Download in Karnataka?

• Step 1: Visit the Seva Sindhu portal and log in to your account.
• Step 2: Navigate to the ‘Track Application Status’ option under the ‘View Status of Application’ section.

• Step 3: Enter the birth certificate application acknowledgment number received during submission.
• Step 4: Click on ‘Get Data’ to view the current status of your application. If the status is shown as ‘Delivered’ , it means your application is approved, and the birth certificate is ready to download.

• Step 5: Now, to download the birth certificate, click on ‘Delivered’. A popup window will appear. Under the ‘Issued Documents’ section, click on ‘Output Certificate’ and finally click on ‘Download Certificate’.
